About Us
ZigZag Education is really about the thousands of authors, reviewers and contributors around the UK who spend their time working towards producing the best resources for schools, teachers and students.
In 1998 maths publisher ZigZag Education merged with ICT publisher Computing Centre Publications and quickly expanded to support all curriculum subjects. Directors Mike Stephens and JL Hagger are both experienced teachers who have taught in both state and independent secondary schools.
Our office in Bristol is the hub of all operations including development of new resources with teachers around the UK (and the world), marketing the resources to UK schools, an in-house proofreading and formatting team, and the customer service team who print-on-demand and dispatch resources to customers.

More about ZigZag Education
ZigZag Education is a specialist publisher of photocopiable and digital/license-based resources. ZigZag is dedicated to providing teachers across the country with the best possible resources. We believe that having experienced teachers from the classroom as part of our author team helps us to produce some of the best resources available.
We publish many of our resources in loose-leaf, photocopiable format, presented in a clip-file or folder. This gives numerous advantages to the customer over the traditional textbook format:
- Excellent value - one copy will provide for the entire school
- Easily updatable - if you work in an area where the most up-to-date information is essential, or if you just want to write a new edition of your resource, it's no problem. We can turn around a resource from draft to production inside a month if need be.
- Authors and our in-house team design resources in Word. This has the advantage that we can provide both PDF and Word-editable copies, allowing teachers much more freedom to tailor resources to their individual needs.
We are open to submissions all year round, and operate the PublishMeNow website specifically to support teacher authors. If you have an idea or resource then we want to hear from you! We are dedicated to helping you, as best we can, because without you we would not have the great resources that we publish. Ultimately we are here to help teachers have access to fantastic resources and hope that you can help us with this aim.
We look forward to hearing from you.
