"I have always had aspirations to be a published writer, so I was delighted when ZigZag took an interest in my materials and worked with me in developing them for publication"

"I have always enjoyed writing and producing my own resources while working in education and I had built up such a range of materials that a number of people suggested that they felt they were good enough to be marketed in some way. I have always had aspirations to be a published writer, so I was delighted when ZigZag took an interest in my materials and worked with me in developing them for publication.

ZigZag have been very supportive of my proposals and of my writing abilities from the outset, encouraging me to develop and pursue projects appropriate for my areas of subject specialism, and offering constructive feedback throughout. The thorough editing process and the process of steady improvement as each resource is developed means that the end result is always of a good, solid educational standard.

ZigZag allow writers to develop their creative skills and express their subject knowledge, while they provide the editorial, publishing and marketing know-how that many writers are not always clued up about."

Ben is currently working on course guides for Edexcel Government and Politics Units 3A (UK Political Issues) and 4A (EU Issues), along with an Edexcel History AS Level course guide on Mao's China (1949–76).
