"The editors and proofreaders are extremely competent, with exceptional subject knowledge that means they can pick up on small details and errata."

Rose has a strong academic background, holding a BA (First-class honours) in English Literature and Philosophy from Durham University and an MA (Distinction) in Modern and Contemporary Literature, Culture and Thought from the University of Sussex. She has also gained a PGCE in Secondary English at the University of Bath.

Having started her career in secondary schools, Rose moved into teaching at sixth-form colleges, where she relished the opportunity to teach some enthusiastic and able students taking the full range of A Level English courses. At the same time she was also able to act as an EPQ advisor and support Oxbridge applicants. More recently, Rose has moved into adult education and she is currently teaching GCSE English evening classes to some lovely older learners who want the opportunity to get the qualification.

"The royalties rate is very good – and often enhanced through the 'Gold Award' given out to authors who communicate well and produce excellent resources."

"In the many schools and colleges I have worked, I have been known to produce very detailed and accessible schemes of work and lesson resources for our students. I've always enjoyed building up an excellent, comprehensive bundle of resources for my team to use and to leave as a 'legacy' when I move on to another role. I knew that my resources had value and hoped to share them further afield!

The royalties rate is very good – and often enhanced through the 'Gold Award' given out to authors who communicate well and produce excellent resources. I'm proud to say many of my resources have been awarded this incentive, which comes with a royalty uplift. The editors and proofreaders are extremely competent, with exceptional subject knowledge that means they can pick up on small details and errata.

I loved writing the comprehensive guide to The Handmaid's Tale for A Level English Language and Literature. Since the incredibly popular Hulu adaptation of Atwood's book, more centres than ever are choosing it as an option. Clearly, the novel captures the imagination of this generation's young people just as much as those who read it the first time around. I really enjoyed applying both a literary and linguistic lens to the text to produce the comprehensive guide; through exploring it linguistically, students often see it in a new light."

Rose has recently completed A Level English Literature Exam Preparation Pack for A Streetcar Named Desire.
